Basketball

Ok, like I said in a post not to long ago J.R. is coaching the guys and girls B-ball teams. Thur. night was the guys first game of the season. Unfortunately they lost, but they also played a team of almost a black guys and like one white guy that were all taller than they were. The other team was really slopping and didn't really play as a team, but our team, with J.R. and Todd as the coaches, were organized and looked altogerther better on the court. That is the only reason that they weren't demolished. What was really funny was that at the beginning of the game J.R. got somewhat into it with ref. He started calling fouls and stuff that the ref. wasn't. The ref did not like that at all, plus he thought that he was reefing for the NBA so that didn't help at all. Finally they had a little talk and J.R. was a little more quite, not because he was scared but for the teams sake. Plus the ref started calling everything he saw, which in this case was on the other team LOL. I think that they will have better luck with the rest of the games.

Today the girls are playing today at 4:30. I get of at 4:00 so I plan on going and watching it. I don't think that J.R. will be as upset but I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. It should be interesting seeing the girls play especially KelsiAnn. Sorry KelsiAnn LOL

I will post about todays game on another day.

"Scorpions on a Plane"

If you have not heard about this you need to check it out just click here. I would hate to be this guy.

Life and Sickness

Life is very interesting. I have learned this now that I am out of high school and getting closer to the real world. I have to make decisions on things like where to get an apartment, how much do I want to spend, can I afford it with food, bills, insurance, or even do I want to move out right now. So many things are getting thrown at me right now and its hard to decide, that's why I am glad God is in control and He knows what he is doing. The thing that sucks is sometimes I a horrible at listening to God and I try to figure out things on my own by looking at every possibility and making decisions on what looks like make sense. If you have ever done this you will find that 1. It would have been much easier to trust God in the first place (Example: My last relationship with a girl, I struggled to figure out exactly what God wanted me to do. I could have saved myself a lot of time of grief and pain and confusion if I would have done this. I am not saying I shouldn't have gone out with her, just that I should have left it in God's hands till he let me know exactly what to do. 2. Just because it looks good and looks like something God wants you to do that doesn't mean that's what God wants for you. Sometimes you have to say no to the good things in order to keep doing or start or find the great things (for those of you that read J.R.'s blog, yes I stole that from him LOL). All and all growing up is just tough sometimes, but at the same time its great cause you don't know what's going to happen which can be very fun once you learn to trust Him.

On the other hand I am sick AGAIN. I hate being sick, which I am pretty sure that no one likes being sick. Except when your in grade school you get to stay home. I don't have a fever so its not bad enough to stay home from work or to go to the doctor to get that stuff that makes you feel fine and get better (I am talking about pills). So right now I just have to suck it up and rely on the good ole Walgreens brand medicine. All I have now is a sore throat and my entire head feels congested. Its weird cause about 75% of of the time I get sick its cause I have not gotten enough sleep in the past week, which is what happened this time. So note to self: Get more sleep!

The Weekend

Well I am back from Ramer, TN and hanging out with the Klines all weekend. Friday night we just hung out and played pool and air hockey. Matt and I found a new way to play air hockey, what you do is take all the pucks and put them on the table. It makes for an interesting game. We had three. Sat. we got up and went up to their store and helped clean up stuff and washed the truck. When we got back to their house Matt and I jumped on the four wheelers and set out to find some trails and mud holes to play around in. It was really hard cause all there is around them is farms and tree farms, which people get really mad about if you ride on them. So we just stopped at some random guys house and asked him if he had any where we could ride. It just so happened it was a guy that went to their church and he had a farm right behind his house which ran into some wooded areas with a creek running through it. So now he has a place to ride that was a lot of fun cause the creek is deep in some areas. Sunday was my favorite day cause we went church and I heard some preaching that was awesome. I was so happy about it cause its been so long since I have heard something that good in person on a Sunday morning. And I think its funny cause it was at a small country church. We then went back to the house and I slept. That night we went to a Chinese place that was really good. Then I came home.

Oh yeah, I also bought a 245 pc. tool set from craftsmen that only cost me $179.99. I was really excited about it cause I always have to use my dads tools.
