Unbelieveable

Ok Jeff, Carmen, Mrs. Robbin, and I went to Union University last night to hear Paul Washer preach. It was amazing. He talked about how the Gospel now a days, that is preached in the majority of the churches, is not the true Gospel but more of what we want it to be. I loved it so much.

It was in a frat house in a large living room with around 250 people. After it was over Jeff wanted to talk to him and tell him that he has encouraged him a lot. Well some students noticed that we were standing around for him, so they asked if we wanted to go to this study room in another building and have like a question/answer type thing with him. Of course we said yes. The only thing was that it was already 11 PM, but I didn't really care.

I never thought I would ever hear Paul in person let alone sit next to him and hear what God has taught him in his life. It was incredible and so encouraging. There were about 25 to 30 people in that study room. We stayed in there for 2 and a half hours. I got in my bed somewhere around 4:40 AM this morning. Then had to get up at 7 to come to work. I would do it again tonight if I could.

This was so much better than I thought it was going to be. Paul is a very bold preacher but one of the most humble men I have ever met in my life. If you have never heard him preach I suggest going to sermonaudio.com and download some of his stuff. God has used him to speaking to me about numerous things in my life, it was challenging.

I am really glad I got to go cause I needed that. I needed a snap back into reality and to hear what I need to be doing as a Christian.

I will never forget that night. I hope I get to do that again with Paul Washer.
