Awhile

OK it has been awhile since I have wrote anything, but sometimes I just get lazy. But what has lead me to type today is what I have been reading in my Bible this week. I have started to read Isaiah and it is awesome. God is telling them to turn from their ways and warning them to repent. He goes on explaining what he is going to do if they don't. ("Them" being those in Judah and Jerusalem). It reminds me about how here in America we forget about things like this in the Bible, or choose to forget. Most pastors and preachers talk about mostly God's love, mercy, and grace and don't meantion God's judgement and wrath. Most would say comments like "I don't want to be mean or scare anyone." First its not there to scare people but for people to fear God. In the sense that we should be afraid to disppoint him in anyway. And the only reason that we think that it is mean is because all we preach here in America is love, mercy, and grace (which there is nothing wrong with these things but thats all they preach and leave the rest alone). So we have babied them so it seems mean. We need to get over what we think that people are going to say. Any Christian speaker shouldn't be concerned with weather men love Him but they need to be concerned with loving men so much that they don't care if some one is offended or weather they get asked back to where they are preaching or not. So many times people pick and choose what they want to preach and leave out those areas that cause a rucus(LOL funny word) in the church or they just meantion a little bit of it instead of preaching it like God wants them to. I think that is what is wrong with churches is America they don't do what God wants, they pick what they want or what the people want to hear.....
Forget all that and preach what you read and what God reveals to you and stop being scared.
